Chronic Pain
Chronic pain is a term used to describe pain that is ongoing. This is different from the pain that is associated with an injury. Chronic pain can be a result of an injury that did not heal properly, fibromyalgia, arthritis, autoimmune disorders, and other conditions.
Those who deal with chronic pain have a unique challenge in that they need to find pain management solutions that also work for their real lives. Most mainstream doctors will simply prescribe pain killers for chronic pain. Although this can provide some short-term relief, this is not a long-term solution. Most pain killers have harsh side effects. Many of these types of medications also have highly addictive properties. This solution will often cut into an individual's quality of life, making it difficult to obtain and maintain optimum health.
Our chiropractor provides sustainable pain management solutions for those dealing with chronic pain. Techniques such as the active release technique have proven very beneficial for those who deal with chronic pain. Regular spinal adjustments are also helpful in keeping the nervous system balanced and reducing pain signals in the body.
Injury Recovery
If you have suffered a recent injury, it is imperative that you find recovery treatment so that you can get back to your normal life quickly. Chiropractic care can provide this. Treatments such as instrument assisted soft tissue manipulation (IASTM) helps the body break down scar tissue that is causing unwanted pain and inflammation which slows down the healing process.
Other treatments such as spinal adjustments, massage therapy, hot/cold therapy, and cold laser therapy, have also been proven useful for injury recovery.

- Rotator Cuff injury/ tear: injury to one or more of the muscles or tendons that stabilize the shoulder, causing pain, weakness, and limited
range of motion in the arm.
- Shoulder impingement: occurs when the tendons of the rotator cuff become compressed or pinched between the bones of the shoulder, leading to pain, weakness, and limited movement, especially when lifting the arm

- Tennis elbow: an overuse injury causing pain and tenderness on the outer part of the elbow, often due to repetitive motion or strain of the
forearm muscles and tendons
